Our Story

AMCO Steel Fabrication is a commercial, Industrial and erection company started in 2004. Amco's can do, customer first attiude, commitment to detail, and superior workmanship have led to rewarding relationships with many government agencies and top national firms including Turner Construction, Robins Morton, CPS Energy, The Lubrizol corporation, Layton Construction Company, LLC, Department of Homeland Security, and all branches of the military. We are SCTRCA certified as ESBE, HABE, MBE, and SBE. We have General Liability and Workman's Compensation and carry on Oversize Umbrella Insurance. All our welders are AWS certified and welders and laborers have completed the 30-hour OSHA training course in Construction Safety and Health and General Industry. All our employees area also MSHA 24-Hour in Metal/Non-Metal Surface Miners and 24-Hour Competent Person/ Fall Protection OSHA ANSI Z359.2 and USACE EM385 1-1. Our employees are also certified in Crane Safety/Hand Signals, aerial equipment, scissor lift and boom safety, confined space, and First Aid/CPR/AEDF. AMCO's management team has a combined 75+ years of experience in the steel fabrication and erection field. Led by owner and president Albert Macias, AMCO is a diverse, family-owned and operated business. Our success can be attributed to integrity, honesty, experience, and complete customer satisfaction. Amco is proudly located in Central Texas on 5 acres, in a 14,350 square-foot facility. Additonally, we have a fleet of service trucks and equipment that allows for installation services around the country. Whether the projects are large or small, AMCO's professional personnel get the job done right and on schedule.
